Nichole Jenkins - President
Nichole is originally from Minnesota and moved to TN in 2006 to attend college. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Industry Management in 2009. Nichole joined Rogers Group, Inc. in June 2015 and currently is the Senior Procurement Specialist. She joined the board as a Board of Director in 2016, serving as a Board of Director, Secretary and Vice President, and has enjoyed being able to help the chapter grow. Nichole's favorite part of NAWIC is meeting new women in the same industry and creating life-long friendships.
Andrea Ward- Vice-President
Andrea Ward has been in the construction industry for 25 years. She has an Associate’s Degree from Nashville State Technical College in Computer Accounting and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from University of Phoenix. She currently is working at Summit Constructors, Inc. which does grading and site utilities and has been there for 12.5 years as of this month. She is their Accounting Controller. She is involved in NAWIC of whom she is the current Vice-President on the board of directors and has been the past membership chair for the Nashville chapter 2013-2016. She has been the Regional Membership Chair for the Southeast Region of NAWIC 2016-2017. She likes to spend her free time traveling with her husband Larry and taking scenery pictures. She is the proud bonus mom of her step-son Bransen who is 12.
Jennifer Costello- Treasurer
Jennifer Costello, CPA, is a Senior Manager in the audit division of LBMC, PC. She has worked in public accounting since 2000, specializing in the construction, engineering, HVAC, manufacturing, and not-for-profit industries. Jennifer brings additional value to her clients with her practical knowledge of internal controls, which was further advanced by her experience working in the industry for a period of her professional career.Jennifer served as internal audit manager of a public manufacturing company where she gained expertise in monitoring and testing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley §404 (SOX). She worked closely with executives, finance, and accounting personnel company-wide. Her responsibilities included the planning and execution of internal audit plans at multiple business unit locations across the United States and the world. When not working, you will find Jennifer enjoying time with her husband, a retired 21-year U.S. Air Force Veteran, their two children, and three dogs. Her personal and professional experiences have molded her into a professional that effortlessly connects with, and relates to, her clients, making her a true, valued business partner.
Ashley Spence - Secretary
Ashley was born and raised in Texas before meeting her husband and embarking on the travel adventures of a military family. They settled down in Smyrna in 2012 with their 2 children, which is also when Ashley joined the construction industry. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management in 2009 and loved school so much she went back and did it again in 2013 and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies. Ashley has been with Feyen Zylstra, an electrical contracting company, since 2016 in the role of Project Coordinator. In her spare time Ashley likes to read or travel around to different areas of Tennessee. Ashley’s favorite part of NAWIC is meeting and sharing unique experiences with women in all parts of the construction industry.
Memory Kinslow - Board of Director
Memory joined the construction industry as Service Coordinator for Rackley Roofing in 2016. Prior to joining Rackley, her background consists of 12 years retail HR management. Memory, her husband and 2 children enjoy riding side by sides on their family farm and spend most weekends on their boat at Center Hill Lake. As a member of NAWIC and the Board of Directors, she is enthusiastic about networking with a diverse group of women in multiple roles at multiple companies. Memory is also a member of National Women in Roofing.
Stacey Nash - Board of Director
Stacey has been a Tennessee resident since the mid 1980’s and lives outside of Gallatin with her husband Jamie and their dog Charlie. They have 4 adult sons and their first grandchild is due on December 25th, 2019. She grew up in Kansas and was co-owner of a concrete finishing company when she was 19. She began working for DPR Construction in 2017 as a Field Office Coordinator. DPR was just identified as one of the top 10 GC’s in Nashville for 2018 and she’s excited about what the future has instore for the company. She has been in the construction industry for 4 years and has an administrative support background. She enjoys gardening, reading, driving fast and creating new adventures. She also enjoys walking in downtown Nashville and discovering new places.
Rebecca Wood - Board of Director
Rebecca Wood began her career in construction as the founder of Superior Traffic Control, Inc in 1998. STC is a full-service traffic control company employing approximately 140 persons and specializing in the installation of work zones, lane closures, detours, permanent signage, overhead signs and structures, barrier rail and attenuators. Under Rebecca’s leadership, Superior Traffic Control, Inc won the TRBA subcontractor of the year award in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. It also won the TDOT Civil Rights Bridge award in 2011. In 2018, Rebecca was honored to become the first female president of the Tennessee Road Builder’s Association and continues to be active on that board. Wood was also privileged to be awarded the AGC Iris Award in 2019. Wood stepped down from her role as President of Superior Traffic Control, Inc. in 2017 and has focused her career on advancing the interests of women and minority businesses via chairing the TRBA DBE Committee, and active participation on both TDOT’s DBE advisory Board as well at ARTBA’s DBE Committee. In addition, she volunteers at Pathway’s Women’s Business Center in Nashville as a business mentor. Wood is currently in the process of creating a new venture which will focus on supporting and developing construction related entrepreneurs through intellectual and financial investments. Rebecca Wood’s primary goals in serving on the NAWIC-Nashville Chapter’s executive council, is to identify opportunities to advance women in construction by relying her past experiences and by leveraging her existing affiliations.
Jennifer Camargo - Board of Director
Jennifer is from Lenoir City, TN and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. After college, she lived in Augusta, GA and worked on the new nuclear units being built. She moved to Nashville 3 years ago to be closer to family and works as a Project Manager for Messer Construction. Jennifer has (2) passions: Cows and Women in the Construction Industry. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé (getting married June 8), shopping, her cat, and being outdoors.
Sandy Wiek - Board of Director
Sandy is a military Veteran searching for ways to support and employ other transitioning Veterans. Her background and education are largely in Human Resources and Personnel Management. She has worked in both Oil & Gas and in Commercial/Industrial Construction, as well as serving as a non-profit fundraiser for universities, wounded warrior programs and private adoption agencies. Sandy currently works for Quality Labor Management. She is married to a Construction Contractor and has raised two daughters, who also work in personnel management, state legal labor entities, and construction staffing and recruitment. She travels, hunts, fishes, reads for fun, and is enjoying her first grandbaby!
